Injury Therapy Plus

Our premier injury care solution

Injury Therapy Plus in Bedford

Injury Therapy Plus is The Body Sage Clinic’s top-tier injury and rehabilitation service, designed for people with injuries or physical problems that haven’t responded well to simpler treatments. It was created for two common reasons:

  • People who want more than sports massage can offer for complex or stubborn issues.
  • People who have tried physiotherapy and felt underwhelmed by short, hands-off sessions.

Injury Therapy Plus combines detailed assessment, hands-on manual therapy, and structured aftercare, delivered transparently and without guesswork. Every session is carried out by Eli Nselala, a degree-qualified Sports Therapist, and will never be delivered by anyone without a university-level qualification in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation.

What is Injury Therapy Plus?

Injury Therapy Plus is our hands-on alternative to physiotherapy, designed to be clear, practical, and effective. While physiotherapy can be extremely valuable, many people come to us frustrated by:

  • Short appointment times.
  • Minimal or no manual therapy.
  • Unclear session structure.
  • Being given exercises without hands-on input.

Injury Therapy Plus was built specifically to address those gaps. Each session follows a clear structure, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • A thorough musculoskeletal assessment.
  • Hands-on manual therapy (a core part of every session).
  • Clear explanations of what’s going on and why.
  • Practical aftercare and rehabilitation advice where appropriate.

No vague promises. No rushed appointments. No uncertainty about what you’re paying for.

Who delivers Injury Therapy Plus?

Injury Therapy Plus is currently delivered exclusively by Eli Nselala, BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation. Eli works with both athletes and non-athletes, and specialises in:

  • Diagnosing and treating complex or persistent injuries.
  • Musculoskeletal dysfunction and rehabilitation.
  • Combining manual therapy with movement and rehab principles.

This service will only ever be carried out by therapists with a degree in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation or higher.

  • Persistent pain that hasn’t improved with massage or physio.

  • Injuries requiring a more structured, diagnostic-led approach.

If your issue is more straightforward, Injury Therapy may be more appropriate. There are no wrong choices, and you can always move between services as your situation changes.

READY TO BOOK?

Injury Therapy Plus isn’t about replacing physiotherapy, it exists because many people want more clarity, more hands-on treatment, and more time spent addressing the problem itself. If that sounds like what you’ve been missing, this service was built for you.

FAQs

Still have questions? Call us for a quick chat.

Not exactly. Injury Therapy Plus covers much of the same ground, but is delivered by a Sports Therapist rather than a physiotherapist. It was designed for people who want a clearer structure and a stronger emphasis on hands-on treatment, alongside assessment and rehabilitation.

Yes. Manual therapy is a core part of Injury Therapy Plus and is included in every session unless you specifically request otherwise.

Yes. Injury Therapy Plus includes musculoskeletal assessment and diagnosis within the scope of Sports Therapy. If your condition falls outside what we can safely treat, we will advise you accordingly.

That depends on the nature of the injury, how long it’s been present, and how your body responds. Some issues improve quickly; others require a longer-term approach. This will be discussed honestly during your sessions.

Not all injuries are appropriate for hands-on therapy alone. If we believe you need medical imaging, specialist input, or another form of care, we’ll tell you, and won’t continue treating something that requires medical intervention.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between services depending on how your condition progresses and what level of care you need.
